The Tokushima Plant, located in the industrial zone at the mouth of Kyu-Yoshinogawa River in Tokushima, is equipped to handle both large scale domestic and overseas projects such as those related to oil refinery plant in cold regions. The biggest advantage of this plant is that sea transportation is available to carry extremely wide steel plate materials as well as large scale final products efficiently by sea. The factory mainly produces large lot products for overseas as well as stainless steel pipes and products with specific requirements such as buckle arresters. Plant operations are such that they are always ahead of the times through such efforts as replacing automatic ultrasonic inspection systems with brand-new digital systems.
